Skills, availability and ambition: the Co-founder Space helps you meet people you could build with, without making the decision for you.
Finding a co-founder is not about finding a copy of yourself. A shared background may make the first conversation easier, but building a project also requires complementary skills and a clear understanding of what each person expects.
The EDGE Co-founder Space starts with practical questions. What do you want to build? Would you rather launch your own idea or join someone else’s? How much time can you commit? Are you aiming for an independent, profitable business, a funded startup, or still exploring?
The journey adapts to your situation: actively looking for a co-founder, open to conversations, already part of a team, or here for networking and mutual support. Not everyone is looking for a partner. Members who already have a team or are here for networking are not suggested as potential co-founders.
Your profile presents your skills, interests and project, if you have one. You can complete it gradually. An optional LinkedIn PDF import helps prepare some answers; you remain in control of the information before publishing your profile.
For members actively looking or open to conversations, suggestions reflect their answers and stated criteria. Only criteria explicitly marked as essential can exclude a suggestion. Questions about working style help refine affinities; they are neither a personality diagnosis nor a guarantee of success.
A score is a starting point for a conversation, not a verdict. When interest is mutual, messaging lets you discuss expectations and arrange a first meeting. Trust and the desire to work together can only be tested through those exchanges.
